candies and chocolates
Her lips and chin stained with melted chocolates
and her hands hiding the wrapper behind
her light blue daisy print skirt,
her face aghast,
there she stood stretching her toes,
eyes shining with playfulness.
A little girl stealing candies and chocolates
from her mother’s kitchen,
Guilt was so simple and naive,
in those days.
Makes me nostalgic

Hey! I had thought to put “nostalgic” as the title before “candies and chocolates”. I’m so glad my poem could stir some memories in you ❤ keep reading
